Audiobahn, Hifonics, Eartquake..Which one?

I have a problem. I need help figuring out which amp I would like to get. My choices have come down to this:

Audiobahn A18001DQ

Hifonics Brutus 1500DB

Earthquake PH-D2

possibly one of the Power Acoustik 3000DB amps..

I used to have an audiobahn A18001D. It was nice, but got scratched very easily with tissues. VERY POWERFUL! I repaired it myself a few times, and it was quite an impressive board. If I remember correctly, it had 12 IRFZ44N transistors. Some "huge" amps dont even have 4 per channel. I have also used A JBL 1200.1 amp. I must say, I was very disappointed with this amplifier. My Power Acoustik A17001D amplifier was nearly twice as powerful. The power acoustik A17001D amplifier was amazing. I wish I could find one again. That is why I might get a 3000DB off of ebay, but they dont show an actual picture of them...they only have (what looks to be) a computer generated image. I have heard an Earthquake PH-D2 amplifier on Eclipse subs, and It was a little louder than my audiobahn 18001d amp.

I was wondering if anybody had any reviews of these amps, except for the audiobahn which I already know. I have searched everywhere for real reviews (not just one person's opinion). Does anybody have any pictures of internals for these amps? I have seen a picture of the PH-D2 amp(i hope it wasnt this amp), and the board looked pretty lame.

I have two Audiobahn AW1200Q subs, wired at 1Ohm right now. I am planning on getting different subs, but will keep them running at 1Ohm.

I was just looking at amps on eBay, and I found the Kicker kx1200.1 amplifier. Has anybody used this amp? I would like to know the dimensions of the amplifier without the endcaps. I read that the kx600.1 amp is about 6 inches shorter than the kx1200.1 Does that mean that the kx600.1 is 3/4 the size of the kx1200.1? The specs say that the kx1200.1 is 22" long with the endcaps. Also, there is some confusion over the power rating. some people, even ikesound.com, claim the kx1200.1 puts out 1200 watts RMS at 1 Ohm. some other people claim that the kx1200.1 puts out 1200 watts max at 1 ohm, and claim their "test card" shows 1470, or over 1500 watts. does anybody really know what the specs are? I wish companies could rate their amps at RMS, and actually tell you the rms. Like rockford (except they **** balls).

I "borrowed" a "2400 watt" rockford amp (the one that sais 2400 watts on the red logo) from best buy. I actually paid over $500.00 for the thing knowing i would return it after i try it out. Anyway, it was no where near as powerful as my Rockford Fosgate Punch 800a2 amplifier, and it was the same exact size. The birthsheet for this "2400 watt" amplifier said the RMS was 827 watts. How can rockford make an amp that the RMS doesnt even meet half the max power output? They used to. Remember the 2000 models? my 800a2 was rated at 800 watts RMS and the birth sheet max was 1024 watts.

I just got a Brutus BX1500D and I am really happy with it. It also seems pretty popular by the people at this website, I think it is the best value of all the ones you mentioned. I know what you are talking about w/ the Fosgate stuff, I had an 800.2 and a 700s, not only rated @ RMS, but under-rated, and they ran like f*ing tanks. now their stuff might as well be rebadged Sony Xplod...

Yeah i will agree i see alot of people on here using the hifonics bx1500d.If ur on a budget that might be something u might want to look into. And Flash is right its prob the best value.

I WOULD NOT BUY off ebay. I had trouble with a KX600.1 from ikesound.com and they're sending me a new one as soon as it becomes available (or so they claim, we'll see //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif ) It only cost me $20 to ship it back to them, but on ebay, that wouldn't even be an option (most of the time)

I know the birthsheet for my KX600.1 said like 702wrms, so the 1200.1 is most likely underrated also.

EDIT: Ohh for the HiFonics, i would DEFINITELY get it from sounddomain.com. They are an authorized seller and seem a little more trustworth. Just get them to price match for you (they have done it for many other members, i think there is a site for the Hifonics that is even cheaper than ikesound that is a good place to have sounddomain match) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
