Just wondering what you guys thought about these two subs head to head. SQ isnt a concern of mine so you dont have to discuss that. The subs would be getting an rms of 700 watts so powering one of these wouldnt be a problem. I planned on putting them in a custom ported box tuned to 29Hz the port and sub would be facing towards the rear unlike my current 15L5. I thought that maybe the Audiobahn would get louder considering that the sensitivity is much higher 92.7 compared to Kickers 87.1 Im not sure how much of a difference that would even make. On the other hand the 12L7 would be pushing more air because of the increased cone area but will that completely kill a 1200Q? I'm looking for the overall highest numbers spl wise at around 29Hz given the rms power is perfect and that the boxes are in the largest recommended ones. Kicker says about 3.25 or 3.5 cubes is the biggest but I'm not sure about audiobahn. If you guys could fill me on which is a better choice and how big the box for that audiobahn could be that would be great. Oh and I forgot to mention I can pick up a 1200Q for about $120 shipped the 12L7 is just about $20 more.
