ok, so i have this audiobahn amp sittin at home right now that i've used before and i'm thinkin about usin it again. it's the a2300hct it's specs are something like this
all watts are rms rated
300w x2 @4ohm
600w x2 @2ohm
1200w x2 @1ohm
600w x2 @4ohm
1200w x2 @2ohm
2400w x2 @1ohm
ok, the way i used it before, i had two subs wired to it, one to each channel at one ohm each, so the subs saw 1200 watts rms, but my question is if i were to use it for main speakers and have them wired at 4 ohms to get the 300 watts, would it draw less current from the battery since it's making less power? i know it might seem like an odd question, but i honestly dont know and it is something i will need to be finding out. so there it is, if anyone could help me out i would be greatly appreciative, everyone here seems to have been helpful so far with any questions i have come up with, and i'm sure this one won't be different. thanks for being such a quality group of people
