Audio Upgrade on New Vehicle

Hello Forum!

I have 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5s and I want to upgrade my audio with some bass and louder sound. I read on Internet that Bazooka sub woofer is pretty popular right now, and shouldn't be too expensive. So I want to get that, and maybe some amplifier (any suggestions?) for louder sound. As I understood, my sub woofer and amplifier shouldn't exceed wattage of my factory speakers, it that right? If so, how can I find out what is wattage on my speakers? I already referred to car's manual and Google, but couldn't find any specifications on that. I am really hoping that bazooka sub woofer and amplifier will be enough to satisfy my need, and I wouldn't have to replace new factory speakers. Thanks for the help!

Well, like I said I want to get more bass in my car, maybe a little shakes other then rear view mirror vibration. And also more sound! I have like 200W system on my pc, and when I go on a drive in my car, and put sound to the max that d'n'b and dubstep just doesn't sound loud at all. I'll say I don't really want to go beyond $400.

I am pretty sure I am not. I just want to get more information, and see what is my best options. I have never did any audio upgrades for any vehicles.

Well if you want more bass for that much id go with 2 10" Alpine Type Es with, a Alpine m500 mono block. Im sure you could buy all that for under 400. Itll sound good and do it exactly what you want it to

well for 250 shipped i have a dd 1508 in a 4th order box that would be nice in your car .this thing slams .then i can sell you an amp to power it for another 160 and the amp kit and loc for another 50 shipped .

To mylows10, so it would $460? What's an amp kit and loc? Also can you specify exact brand and model of sub and amp.

The amp kit is the wires needed to run an amp and a loc is the device you'll need to tap into the speaker wires to feed a signal to the amp for bass

This would be perfect without needing to upgrade speakers since they don't fit your budget. Look up what a 4th order box is too. It's beyond your normal box and you'll love it.
