Audio system question please help

I have just bought a 2007 chevy classic without bose system and imho it sounds like junk. I have my old head unit from my other truck which was a pioneer deh-80rps. It has built in time alignment and all. I no my head unit is the heart and soul in music so I tried to go with the best with what little bite I no. I have a Memphis 1000 watt amp for my subs can you guys tell me what set up yall would put in a ext cab chevy. If it makes since I would like for my vocal and bass to match each other and sound clean anyone no what set up to run. what ever speakers I get I would like to put under my rear set I need my back seat thanks guys and sorry for the newbie questions but defiantly looking forward to learning about car audio

The deh80prs is one of the best sounding hu's out there. Has excellent DSP functions. Probably no need to ever change that. These AB subs sound good, hit hard, will fit easily under the seat and are great for the price. The vfl series is probably a bit better.

What would you recommend for door speakers or vocal I should say my factory speakers are trashed the two front don't even work I was looking at the pioneer ts-d170 speakers my question is do I need to run a amp with them or would it be best just to run it off my head unit

You don't have to use an amp, but if you want the full potential of the speakers then you should use one.

What brand of amp would yall refer and what class. Sorry for the stupit question guys im new to the car audio thing just rather spin my money onces and be happy

Depends on budget. They range from $100 to a few grand. You get what you pay for

I'd look at other speakers besides those pioneers.. they look pretty ******

Since I already have the head unit and the amp for the subs I was looking at maybe a few hundred more dollars and my goal is to when someone rides in my truck they go wow this sounds awesome or when im having a little get together at the house I have a awesome system that everyone wants

Its hard to explain everone has there own definition of something thats sounds good the best sound I can think of that im lookingnto be somewhat close to is a good sounded marine system on a boat if yall have ever heard one

Thats the problem people around hear buy a kenwood head unit from auto zone then buy earthquakes for highs and then get a 12or 15 inch sub and think they have a awesome sounding system. When its distorted as crap and makes me wanna puke.
