Audio questions.

imo ur not gonna notice a ton of difference going from 2 12s sealed off same power, to 2 different 12s sealed off same power. the sundown and dc subs are built better, and are built to be way louder than kickers. butttttttttt for example a sundown sa-12 would rather have the 750 watts to itself to shine. not 375 watts when its rated for 600 and can handle 1000 easy.

maybe go for a single 15 or single 18 off the 750 watts or try some ssa dcon 12s that are rated for 300 watts so the 375 will push them very nicely

I should have worded that differently, I meant will a single 18 be louder than the kicker 12's I had before.

it all depends. are you putting it in a trunk? because if so dont get with an 18. go with a single 15. do i DC lvl 3 15 in a PORTED box. if you want to get louder with the same amp just do a PORTED box for whatever subs u end up picking. i think you would be realy happy with a 15inch memphis MOJO and you can pick one up pretty cheap.

i have a jeep wrangler. The seats are folded up so I have plenty of room. I was looking at the Alpine type r's. Would my amp be able to push these pretty good?

A set of 12s in a nice custom (built for the subs) ported box off of that power will surprise you.

you've got a lot of good info here man, don't be so doubtful. sounds like you've already have a good idea of what you want, your just looking for a yes or no. regardless of the sub, they will sound louder in a ported box then a sealed generally at the same wattage.

ok two alpine type rs is about 1200rms...you have a 750 to 1 ohm amp...i would go with a sa 15 or 12 wired to 1 ohm in a custom ported box and yull be set. juss my opinion
