audio newb help please

whats up everyone. im working on my sub set up. this is what i have 1 12in vibe space, 1 vibe monobox 3 1200 watt amp. im looking into gettin a cap. looking at 3 farad caps sense i will be adding more amps to the system. my question what type of caps are you guys using? im hoping to get one with a red display sense my trunk will have red neon. looking at american legacy, and some others. any sugestions?

much too learn... dont get a cap, start with a new battery and up grading the electrical buyin a cap will just put more strain on the electrical part of your car .. and IMHO american legacy= DIRT

how will a cap put more strain on the battery. i thought the point of a cap decrease the amount of stain on the battery?

The cap stores power to give the amp. When it discharges, it has to recharge. Hence putting strain on the alt and electrical system

i wasted my money on a cap and my lights are still dimin. put your money into an electrical sytem. start with a new bat

Most of us just upgrade our electrical system. (Big 3)
