Waz good CA.com...New memeber here...Ok I've recently just went thru my first system...Really undecided on what to do this time around...I have a 2003 Crown Vic...I had 2 15" Kicker L7's being ran by a Visonik 4000 Watt Monoblock amp(ported)...I had the 15's hooked up at 4 Ohms...That really wasnt enough bass for me...Didnt really like the output...I recently have blown both L7's.(dont know how) First off I really think I should sell this amp. I am just really undecided on where I want to go...I want to accomplish if i comming up the block you can hear me...Also if Im sitting right behind you I want you to be able to feel my bass...Any suggestions on where to go??? I was thinking about getting another pair of L7's and then get the ZX2500 and a bigger box...Another ? is there another setup maybe I can go with for what I want to accomplish that maybe cheaper???

4 ohms is easier on your cars electric system than 1 ohm, maybe it wasnt a bad idea.

yea thats what they was telling me...Even with this setup I had electrical problems. I didnt have the Big 3...I had 2 CAR batteries in the trunk and a cap...But that still wasnt enough...(I know I've recently have been told them Car Batteries are not safe)

The batts would have been fine as long as they were sealed, and fused/wired correctly.

Caps don't do shit either.

Oh okay...Anybody know what possibly could of blown the L7's? Any suggestions on where I should go? Should I just replace them get a new amp/keep amp or suggestions on a cheaper setup???
