Audio gear suggestions. Alpine or JL

Hello. It has been along time since I have messed around with a system. Currently I have a new pioneer head unit on some alpine type s. 6x9s. I also found a good deal on some JL TR-690's. I did the Pepsi Challenge with them and I think the alpines sound better. Will this be true if I amp them? Also should I buy alpine type r or should I go with the JL c2's.

My current plan is to run the 6x9 type s speakers in the back. With either type r 6.5" up front or the JL c2's. All being ran off a JL jx360/4 amp. Please correct me if I should do something different.
