Audio companies went out of business this year

How long do you think Orion will be around now that sound around is at the helm
MD Audio which is a South American company bought Orion not Sounds Around, but from what I've been told it may just have well been SA because MD customer service was crappy in a major way and a lot of long time dealers have been dropping Orion as though it had the "virus".....

What the he'll happened to phoenix gold?
When AAMP bought them out, it was their intent to

1) start back building a top quality product that preformed

2) more importantly CLEAN UP it's distribution chain that had WHORED OUT the brand when under Rodec

Thus no more internet sales period...you won't find any new Phoenix product online at all. They are policing the brand like the feds..lol

They've moved it back to being a SPECIALITY RETAILER only brand.....

LMAO! "i dont see them around much" is a reason why a company is going to go out of business? "cookie cutter" is a reason why? leave it to forum members with delusions of grandeur to speculate reasons as to why a company will go out of business. Plain and simple guys, supply and demand. No matter how hard you try "Cookie cutter" subs and amplifiers are IN. High demand and not a very high supply until about 7 months ago.

I remember dropping $350 for the deck I had (open box). Was pleased with the sound out of it, but that was in an 84 monte carlo, awesome acoustics.

I have a. 84 grand prix. Used to have a system in it, those cars do have awesome acoustics.

thats the problem with forums and the internet in general. it distorts whats happening in the real world. i read us, the internet crowd, only represent a small portion of the audio world. i know i've heard plenty of mainstream stuff that sounds great and would probably make great monster builds if folks were more open minded. and like the one guy say earlier. DB drive is big my way. their gear looks solid also. i know earthquake is popular, hifonics used go make monster subs and amps from the elite and up are good. i saw this morning MA is still redesigning their subs. a lot is happening outside of our little bubble.
