Audio companies went out of business this year

Interesting perspective on Obsidian Audio although completely erroneous and ill-informed. Our bid on the market isn't strong enough? What data do you have that will support that thesis? Doesn't really matter though as it is irrelevant and not based on any factual information. We are doing quite well and we do have a very good "bid" on one particular section of the market that is proving to be a fantastic hit with the internet car audio market. Let alone the other woofers we sell that keep increasing in sales at a steadfast rate.

psi? Surprised to see that mention as I don't see David going under that quickly. ...at all.
Didn't mean to upset you but, also I was saying in the long run. The reason I said bid on the market is because it is so clouded in the region your line is in with many brands. Also I never hear much about them. I like your subs though and would recommend them over other subs in your region.

db drive isnt going anywhere, dblink, quantum audio, bassinferno all db reaserch they are big in texas and down south...

us amps, re audio finally killed them after putting there name on inferior amps..

I haven't heard anything good about quantum audio I thought it was flea market stuff?

I wonder what will happen to some of these brands when more and more dealers start closing there doors I don't see most of them being able to compeat in a internet only market

"Big Box Stores".....

As the dealer era ends those large stores will take over for a while. That will more then likely last until I'm retired.

DB Drive, Hifonics, Quantum, Memphis, Powerbass are all huge down here in the south.. RE is actually getting big down here also. cheap stuff for the hood rats and poh peoples man...

DB is freaking huge south of the states I don't think they will go anywhere for a long time... I've heard some of their Platinum series subs they are pretty good.. other than that I just wait to see who fails and who doesn't...

Same as the industry i'm in. Its a guessing game and no one knows till its to late

All you have to do is to open up your local craigslists' electronics for sale section to see what brands are being bought by the general public. Kicker, Dual, powerbass, infinity, low end JL shit, pioneer, sony xplode is all I see.

The last real innovative company in the entire industry was PG with the release of the Cyclone, and that was 15 years ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
