SPECS if needed---> http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17702_Tsunami+PP1002TM-CAP.html

is this connected right? http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/1760/capicitor.png is dying capacitor stays on when car shuts off so i'm assuming its not in sleep mode becuz....yeah my battery is dead next day

....normal operation capacitor iz very bright blue with blue pulsing accent ring and voltage meter....when car is off nothing is on the display and blue accent ring goes dim (dont know if this is sleep mode or not)

the wiring is right.. but the cap shouldnt stay on with all the lights on it.. get yourself a little batcap 200 or 800.. very small and better and more efficient then a cap..
Actually there is nothing more efficient than a cap if properly implemented. When they are charged to the system voltage, they do not keep drawing current. Batteries ALWAYS draw current because they never charge to the system voltage. Caps discharge and recharge very efficiently and rapidly. Battcaps are either a battery or a capacitor. They are not some magical hybrid of the two. It's just a marketing ploy. Caps aren't good for car audio applications but a batcap won't necessarily be much better. It certainly won't be "more efficient".
