Audio Anarchy Hyundai Elantra Lacquered CT Sounds Door Pod Build

Here is a set of pod I did for a fellow CT Sounds Dealer in Chicago. The original plan was to wrap them but he curves on the front speaker mount wouldn't allow for a smooth wrap without seams so we decided to lacquer them.

The system consists of three sets of Meso 6.5" mids with three sets of CNC aluminum framed Meso tweeters, one 125.4, one 125.2 & a 2500.1 on the subs. Subs are currently Strato v1 10s but will soon be Meso 12s. If you're in the Chicago area stop by and see Steve at S&A Autosounds for a demo.

Kinda bums me out that I'm too far away to get a demo myself so someone go by there and listen to them and report back!

Looks nice, but honestly I prefer the look of the vinyl. Painted is too shiny.

my dash kit will be painted to match the door pods and I also have a piano black kit going on soon (kinda similar to a woodgrain kit) it will go around vents and over the window switches and a few other areas. thanks
