im kinda new to the whole car audio scene.... i was hoping i can get some help... i have this amp(Audibahn A8000T) pushing 1 infinity reference 1230W..... if i were to buy a square kicker 12" L5d4 off of ebay for around 150 brand new..... do yall think my amp would be able to power the kicker? would the kicker make a big difference with the same amount of power running to it as the infinity?

if the l5 is dual 4 than u would have to run at 2 ohm the amp says 400 rms @ 4 ohms so if the amp is 2 ohm stable it will be putting out more than 400 which means yes it will push the sub and it will probly get louder than your infinity

i looked it up the amp will give u 800 by1 @ 2 ohms which means u will have more than enough power to run the l5 u can probly even run a l7 with that amp if u wanted to get louder

so you think it is worth $150 to dish out just to get the L5 using the same setup?

Another question..... i have a L5 a friend gave to me but it doesnt work...... it only hits when at high levels then when i turn it down it doesnt hit no more..it sounds muddy... i think the cone is getting stuck ? does that mean its blown?
