hey yall, i'm designing my box for my sx right now and i have a very COMPUTED nice dimension. but what better way to check the accuracy than to see what sx owners have found to be tried and true. i have on here a 3.7 cubic foot box tuned at 36 hz, what else do u recommend (not much published on RE woofers unlike alpines and kickers and shit i usually design and build)?

sounds about right...i have my SX 15 in 3.6 cubes @ 35 hz and it wangs...

I dont know what your looking for, but for spl purposes, they liked smaller boxes.

I had about 40 sq inches per 12"

They probably had about 2 cubes a woofer.

tuned to what btnhfan....40sq in'' of port seems very very low...no port noise or it just doesnt matter really if your just competing???....

40 sq in per 12 is quite a bit lol.
