I noticed on your "Favourite sub" post that you've listed the XXX as your favorite combonation subwoofer. By this I assume you have recieved it, and listened to it (to have recieved it and not installed it would be madness!). What are your initial thoughts on it? Low frequency extension, midbass reproduction, sonic accuracy, etc? Comparatively, have you listened to the Brahma in person, and if so, how did they match up? Thanks!

I don't have it, but I got finished with both boxes...I've been at a Semi-pro game playing baseball...my old *** arm hurts...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Semi Pro is below Minor Leagues...you don't get drafted and anyone can play...I play for the Roxboro Red Sox, we won the Semi-Pro World Series last year...

I kinda wish I could get into something like the Semi Pro deal. You know break in the old arm. I bet it wouldn't take me more than a month or two to reach 85 mph again. Maybe faster, my legs are a lot stronger than they were in high school. Oh yes, and that knuckle ball would be a good counter-pitch.

We only have 2 knucklers in the league...and I don't throw mine consistantly...I was injured last year during a game and am just getting back into pitching...

Are any of the pitchers really good, another words can play at a higher level but choose not to. I mean, you don't need to throw 90 mph to be good, I pitched just as good throwing 80 as opposed to throwing 85, I actually had a much lower ERA (.79) when I was only throwing around 78-80 mph. My senior year era was around 1.90, and I was clocked throughout the game throwing 83-84, occasionally hitting 85. But I could hit the catchers just about everytime. One game I remember, the ump was giving me the call as long as I hit the catchers mit, we had him making calls a foot off the plate. They ump came up to me after the game and told me he used to be a catcher, and the game of pitching is hitting your location, if you can hit the catchers mit, I'll give you the call 80% of the time. I ended up throwing 79 pitches that game, 60 something for strikes, finished with 13 K's and a 1 hitter.
