PS3 Online play is very good for being free. I used to play COD4 everyday for like 4-5 hours straight with no problems.

IMO 360>>PS3. Controllers are better, graphics are better (don't argue this, the developers themselves even say this) it's cheaper, has more exclusives that I want and is just a great system. I have a few friends that have bought PS3s and they just sit there not being used while they are on their 360s all the time, they all regret buying a PS3 and say they wasted their money.

Im tired of hearing this stupid f'n argument.

For a true next gen console it should have the following things built in

1) Rechargable battery in the controller PERIOD, if your gonna have wireless it should be rechargable ( this alone is $50 bucks upgrade for the 360)

2) built in wireless adapter, the console is built around media streaming, a wireless adapter should be cheap and it should work well and be internal (100 bucks right there )

3) HD dvd player, when the console was released they should have had it built it, now they should come with blu ray built it, again its a next gen console you shouldnt have to pay for an upgrade from teh previous generatoin.

4) a hard drive, the stupid base console that everyone says is "SOOO cheap " and is the reason why 360 is better. Wrong you have to have somethign to save games /updates on. Hell in order to update it you have to use a hard drive as those stupid memory sticks arent big enough, and you cant even use a usb thumb drive as a storage device for the 360, f'n weak.

ps the ps3 hard drive can be upgraded for a fraction of a stupid one for the 360.

I admit the 360 has better games, and i admit there online gaming is superior, but the cheap argument is retarded. In order to have a tru next gen console with the 360 you have to spend MORE money than a ps3 is just to get it on par.

Mine has component, i think that they have all went HDMI, which is another thing they should have came with, that i missed in my post.

I'm still not sold on the better games. There is only 2 that come to mind and that is Halo and Gears of War. The PS3 has Metal Gear Solid and Resistance. Both solid games.

Buy a set of AA rechargeables, cheap and replaceable when the life starts diminishing, in 2 years your PS3 controller will need to be recharged every 2 hour, mine won't. A next gen GAME console is just that, a game console, not an entertainment center. Built in wireless is the only thing I will agree with you on, Blu Ray is a non feature to me, after looking at movie prices that are $10-$20 more than a DVD when I am still 100% satisfied with DVD is asinine. The PS3 definitely has cool features, but the core of a game system is the game experience, and all around I think the 360 just has it beat. Also, I wasn't talking about the no HDD system, the 20gb model is $299 now nd the 60gb is $349, more HDD for less than the PS3, and why do you need HDMI? Every test I have seen shows Component being equal to HDMI in picture quality for HD. HDMI is absolutely not needed, HDCP is not enabled on Blu Ray and from the sounds of it, it never will be negating any need for HDMI.

Games are a 100% subjective thing, for me the 360 has all the sports games I want, more exclusives that I want and a better controller to play them on IMO.

What sport games does the 360 have that PS3 doesn't? In fact, PS3 has MLB the show which is better then any 360 MLB game.

Oh, xbox 360 has oblivion, and future Elder Scrolls titles. So it wins for me.

ps3 has oblivion as well. Vanilla, GOTY, and Shivering Isles upgrade for vanilla. I have vanilla and shivering isles. LOVE that game.

Let me ask the Xbox Fanboys a question....

How can you POSSIBLY believe that on an "HD DVD" you would have better graphics than whats on a Blu-Ray disc? Blu Ray discs hold 58gb of data. HD DVDs are a fraction of that. And Sony is in the development of an even FURTHER stretch in teh Disc wars. Its able to be read by the Blu Ray players, and hold close to 400GB of data. i have both, and my xbox live accnt is now cancelled, just never played it, also my xbox sounds like a fvcking turbine when u turn it on, ps3 hardly does anyting loud, dont know if its just mine or what

i prefer ps3 marketplace over xbox

built in wifi FTW

internet browser is neat to use with youtube and such to play around with

i used to have a ton of fun back in HS with Halo though

both are great consoles, i think ps3 is built better and just prefer it more now, bluray rocks
