I know I could have done this in a pm, but I thought other people might like to see a bit of creativity.
So NeedDirections, remember that MX I bought off you? You said there was a rattling in the cone and the impedance was going nuts on you. So, I decided to do a bit of surgery to the sub. Seeing as it's a dual cone sub, I removed the top cone to see what's rattling inside. It turns out it was a little white cup that I'm guessing was glued to the bottom of the top cone to add a bit of strength to it. After all that, I got Chad (aka 02parkave) to send me a couple dustcaps, I threw them on, and now the sub works great!! The impedance is reading a steady 1.6 per coil and I couldn't be happier. On to the pics.....
