I'm getting 140db @ 24hz on the dash (window open) with a pair of Icon 10"....

(I usually have the windows cracked when listening anyways)

with the doors and windows sealed it hits 140db @ 30hz

it's not quite enough for me..I'll be adding a couple more 10's

try tuning box a little higher for your 10's. 24 is way low. What kind of car? Amp? Pics?^^^

I'm always interested in trunks getiing loud and even more interested in proving 10's can !

meh my car isnt that loud at all but it is in a trunk and only 600w system ... i have 2 atomic en12's and 2 bazooka 300w amps i did a little testing on the new TL the other day .. and (not nearly competition results but plenty loud for me ) "outlaw" score on music was 144.xx (i my cracked my door some too i guess that allowed ?) "legal" score on the windshield all windows and doors closed (sealed up) on music was 142.xx ... .. like i said not much but pretty good for a 4door sedan in the trunk with 2 12's in a sealed prefab box ... ( also its a temporary setup )

nothing wrong with the tuning.....

the amp is a Crown BPX 2200.1..the car is a Ford Tempo

my rear seat is re upholstered in Kevlar screen so the DB really

doesn't change with the seat in or out

with my amps on the ceiling I am in the wall class so it's more of a bassrace

set up for now..you are allowed to flap the doors in bassrace

I'll be working on an SPL box this winter...see what I can get out of the Tempo

No offense but I do alot of bassracing and part of the rules is to keep the car sealed for the whole 30 secs. Iaasca Bass Boxing you can run with windows open I believe.

I know you say theres nothing wrong with the tuning you have, I also run a pr. of 10's. They will get that low but like to be around 40hz. Have you found your rez freq. in your vehicle?

I'm not a point collector..the odd trophy is cool though

I like my system so when the low notes come on my vision blurrs

love the low end extension that goes right down to the nitty gritty
