Attention people who bought XXX's brand new

Emm, if you're only issue with the RL-P is its powerhandling... lower the gains so that it sees the power it was intended for... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/idea.gif.5acb6a39a9b92425414c316dda202bad.gif

Switching to the XXX in the same box will almost definately yield a very small increase in audible output... If you already liked the SQ on the RL-P, why not just put that in a ported box instead of taking a chance on another driver? Sheesh. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Because i think the XXX will have even more SPl. And im not really taking a "risk". If i don't like the XXX, ill just sell it, im sure there will be pleanty of people here willing to take it off my hands. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Do you know the whole story. It's rather a retarded one. There was no need to switch speakers when all he had to do was switch his box...
Been here through the whole story, so that would be a yes.
The guy has both subs already, and an amplifier more suited to the XXX's needs, yet some people seem bent on him turning his amp gains down instead and using the smaller sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

True dat. I still say the guy needs to build a ported box either way:)

Hint hint LS...

I agree Id like if it he were to build another box for the Rl-p and at least review it. But imo he's better off with the XXX in this situation probably (due to power considerations, wanting more output, already owning both, etc).

He is better off with a XXX and that amp. I didnt know he already bought the sub.

Does he plan on slamming the XXX in the current box? I dont think he will get a vast increase in output until he gets a ported box built.

Are you serious? I'm not against him switching from an RL-P to a XXX because its an XXX... I'm against it because "power considerations" are not so important in his case. The truth is that the RL-P in its recc. box with 800-1000 watts should get almost as loud as the XXX in its recc. box with 1200 watts. You know this.

The only logical reason i would consider for him switching drivers is to try something new. In which case I would just shutup... but all this power handling nonsense has to stop. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
