Attention people who bought XXX's brand new

Put it in a 1 cubic foot box and find out.

My box is 1 cube after sub displacement, and RE's website recomends .8-1 cu ft sealed. Im sure its not gonna be fantastic, but i don't think it will be as terrible as you guys say it will be.

I thought a recone was like 100 bucks? Perhaps that inclues shipping? dunno?

I dunno I thought I read somewhere that a recone was 100 dollars plus a used XXX would be in the 300, high 200's range. So I consider it a "fair" price.

if I'm wrong plz, someone correct me for future use.

used. i only consider stuff brand new unless i buy it straight from the company, not because the seller says it is. it's like a new car. as soon as you drive it off the lot, the value goes down even though you still consider it new.

Well, the RL-P no longer has shitty ouput since it is now broken in and has polyfill in the box. The box is 1 cube after displacement w/ polyfill, but im most likely gonna either have someone build me a ported box, or build my own soon. The only reason i wanna sell the RL-P is i don't think the sub is made to handle the amount of power i am throwing at it, it does sound awesome though.

i paid $275 shipped for my 15" xxx

i payed 280 for my 15" brahma w/5cube @20Hz fiberglass enclousure, freshly reconed.

but it blew earlier today twas an awesome sub will it lasted

The RL-P isn't even bad anymore, its perfectly fine. But id rathar run the XXX and not have to worry about any damage occuring to the sub w/ the high power.

Even in my tiny *** box the RL-P really slams though. On some songs the bass is overwhelming and painful lol.
