Attempting to put all my amp questions in here

Ahh man, I totally missed that link! I just checked it out and it seems to be a pretty nice amp! Have you heard pretty good things about them?
I've never used one but I've heard a lot of good comments about them as far as budget amps go. I don't know of any better options for a ~1500 watt amp for $200.

Thanks! I will look into some details of both and compare! Also, any results on the capacitor? Is it needed? I am still running stock alternator just recently had to replace my battery so its a bit higher than stock. These are the only things I am running by the way. All my door speakers are still run off my HU so no other draws on the battery!

You would be better off purchasing another battery than you would be with a capacitor.

But to answer your question, a capacitor is NOT necessary, provided you have a proper vehicle electrical system. In all honesty, you can try your subwoofer amplifier first and if you notice excessive dimming or that your vehicle won't start, then you can look towards adding another battery or upgrading your alternator.

The only good I have seen a capacitor perform was to filter out AC ripple from an alternator that was going bad. It also helped in some imports that had Electrical Load Detectors by causing the charging system to see a load therefore keeping the charging voltage constant versus dropping to 12.5 volts after the charging system leveled itself out.

Hopefully i didnt miss something, but there was a crossfire CFA-1000D that jsut went across ebay for i believe 220 and they are proven quality amps. I believe the avg one puts out about 1300W RMS at 14.4 V. Also there are a couple of Rockford T5002 amps right at 200 dollars that may fit your bill.

Hmm, guess I will just be going to try it out first and see if i notice dimming lights first off! Thanks for all the different amp suggestions too everyone! I have alot of looking to do now! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I agree with all this. Also read up on the "Big 3" and go ahead and do it with 0 gauge.
