attempted break in today

well i dont even have a stereo anymore...all i have is a head unit, and there isnt anything of real value in my truck other then that. i still have a dark tint, which im guessing is why they decided to try and break in.
what pisses me off the most is that i stood there and talked to these pieces of shit, godddd if only i had realized then that they were actually trying to jack my truck or whatever they could have found.

id either be dead, in a hospital, or a bad ***.

but this is exactly why im getting my concealed handgun license when i turn 21...

In TX, if someone is caught breaking into your car, does that justify shooting them? I know if they are breaking into your place of residence you can....

i honestly dont know, but it was something i was wondering as well today..im fairly sure that if they are breaking into your car on your property you can, but im not sure about in public..

I dont think you can, someone breaking into your car doesnt show intend to harm you. But breaking into your house does. Something to look into.

Out here in cali, you pretty much have to be bleeding from the eyes,mouth, ears, limbs, and have your guts laying on the floor in front of you before you can shoot someone in self defense.

i dont have one set place i work, i travel around so my only protection is my alarm...which it saved me today luckily.

If my car gets stolen I'll just head to the ear, nose, and throat doctor or the hospital because I'm willing to bet they'll have ruptured ear drums ...
152dB horn siren hidden pillar behind the driver seat with it's own backup battery hidden very, very well and wires ran through the body's framing and hidden in the most in-accessable part of my car ...

not to mention 2 155db horns outisde the car, aswell as the factory GM security system ... and On-Star can track it anywhere in the country, my sub box is bolted in and is security wired from the bottom so there's no way that's getting out without a fight.

Gotta love sound deadening, it really teaches you a LOT about your car.

i got an estimate on my truck today...$745 bux to fix this shit. not to mention i also have to have a rental car for at least 2-3 days. I swear to god im going to find this ****ing piece of shit and make him sorry for this. he ****ed with the wrong truck.

it was pulled out farther then this but i pushed it back in hoping that it would fix it...

isn't it ridiculous how much they charge you for it? I think the restoration body shop companies only want more money out of insurance. This one place charged me 1000 dollars to fix a busted lock. I asked why the hell it was that expensive, and they said they replaced the whole lock mechanism, AND completely repainted the door.

ya its retarded. they charge $40/hour to work on the truck. they have to take the inner panel off, fix the dent and repaint and blend the paint around the dent. then they have to replace the lock and have the key/lock re-coded or something like that...what pisses me off is that i took an auto-body class in highschool and i could fix this myself minus the re-coding for nothing but a little time and a few bux in parts....yet its going to take these dumbasses 3 days and ~750 bux.
