attaching pvc to mdf

I cut the baffle hole the same ID as the PVC and round it over to create a flare. I cut another piece the same OD as the PVC and glue it to the inside. I do the same for the other end and sandwich the pipe between them, then caulk it. Looks good and holds the pipe secure.

i get where your going with this. thank you sir! thing is ive only built the one, then ran out of wood. lol now the 2 are going to be different!

I hear you. I usually use scraps like the baffle cutout to make the inner pieces. You can also use a small piece to glue from the side of the box to the edge of the pipe and use some plumber's strapping to secure it.
