attaching pvc to mdf

i first used epoxy putty to bevel the outter end.. then used liquid nails to glue/seal it.. seems to be holding up fine

Maybe try some 2 part epoxy?

You could use fiberglass resin but a can will cost you as much as a whole aero port

I cut the baffle hole the same ID as the PVC and round it over to create a flare. I cut another piece the same OD as the PVC and glue it to the inside. I do the same for the other end and sandwich the pipe between them, then caulk it. Looks good and holds the pipe secure.

exactly, FG would be my best bet but this project is on the cheap hence the pvc

i get where your going with this. thank you sir! thing is ive only built the one, then ran out of wood. lol now the 2 are going to be different!

I hear you. I usually use scraps like the baffle cutout to make the inner pieces. You can also use a small piece to glue from the side of the box to the edge of the pipe and use some plumber's strapping to secure it.
