atomic subs ?

hey all,

I managed to find atomic subs thru looking over kinetic battery's myspace

page - managed to see a pic of atomic xxx 24" sub.

is this for real ?

or is it more like pa speaker style ?

I did not manage to see any pix of basket

only its cone, and it looked like it might of had

the crappy surround style of house speakers. ( not the nice foam rubber piece most good car audio subs have )

any one have feedback on them?

good / not so good ?

this s is a fully functional sub woofer, but its more for daily bumping.

Atomic's APX and APXX are their competition subs.

Good stuff, but a pain in the *** to deal with on parts.

I had a 15" APX in the back of my vette for awhile.

snoopdan - I have been wanting to see that box in your vette for a while now.

it looks smaller than I imagined it to be, only like 5 cubes or somethin?

or did you build it down in to the rear cargo bins also ?

I ask - as im not 100% satisfied with my current box design working with my car.

I feel like im feeding alot of sound wave directly up at the rear hatch glass.

I swear the rear hatch glass flexes like 1/4" not good man !
