Atomic 3000.1D on Stock Electrical?

Hey guys my atomic amp keeps beggin me to throw it in the car...LOL anyways im wondering if it will be ok for me to throw it in for a day or so and run it off my stock electrical. My alt is 105 amps and I have one run of 1/0. I just want to see what 3000 watts will sound like on my DP

Oh I will. I will have my Dmm on it the whole time to monitor the Voltage. What is the lowest you would let go to the amp. My car runs right around 14.1

lowest is probably 11.5 for under voltage protection.

just watch out, its a risky thing to do, as the atomic 3000.1 isnt the most efficient 3k amp out there

well what are the vc's of the subs your going to run?

i would just wire it to 4 ohm or something.

Do you guys think it would be worth the hassle to throw one of my Stinger Sp70 batteries in there to help out. If it wont let me know so I dont go through the hassle of installing it.

more than worth the little extra time. rather than hurt the car or the amp

i ran my 500.1 on one extra batt in rear all rest stock electrical and it worked out fine at .7ohm

well, if it helps at all..

i'm running my mm4000 @ 1 ohm off a fully stock electrical under the hood and 1 run of 4 gauge(although its all temp)..

but w/ 2 d3100's in the rear. wide open drops to about 12.9
