Atlas enclosure question..

I'm going to be purchasing 2 12" Ascendant Audio Atlases in a couple of days and would like to have a box prepared for their arrival. My question is - do these speakers have an enclosure preference (sealed vs. ported) and how large of an enclosure am I looking at? Should I stick with the ~1^3ft sealed per speaker for .707Q Ascendant recommends or have you guys found a different enclosure type/size to perform better?

iirc if you want ported they need BIG boxes...why don't you just ask chad? he's super helpful
