AT and CT confussion.. Help

K I am lost when it comes to these brands. What amps did AT produce?? What amps does CT produce? I know it was some name change BS but can At amps be strapped to CT amps? If they would have just changed name no big deal but they renamed there amps.. Trying to help mate but I am lost we got 1200's.1300's,1400's yet there said to be same internals.. Break it down if u know..

AT 1200 is CT 1400

AT 800 is CT 900

Anyone know if say a 1200 can be strapped to a 1400? Was the change just names?
