I think we have a tailgater on our hands.

Honestly, if all of the lanes are wide open and I know I won't be going 30%+ above the speed limit, I'll stay in the middle or right lanes to give way to the faster traffic.

However, if the road is full of traffic and I'm driving in the left lane, keeping up with the person in front of me while maintaining a moderately close following distance, there's absolutely no reason for an asshat to zoom up on my bumper and follow my every little twitch like a fucking magnet. That kind of crap isn't going to get you anywhere faster.

If you like weaving in and out of traffic, be my guest! Just don't ride my *** for 10 miles before deciding to pass me.

I was mostly talking about the people that feel its their duty to slow the person going faster down. Im not talking about heavy traffic. Im talking moderate traffic, you riding in the left lane going slower than other traffic. Or im talking people that could speed up 2mph to let someone switch to the next lane to go around them, but isntead slow down. No I am not a tailgater, I am a fast driver, some may call me aggressive. I dont see why its so hard to move out of the way though. You see a car coming down the road doing 80, you are doing 60 and you decide he should slow down? Weaving in and out of trafiic, I do that, because everyone is driving like they dont know what the fukk is going on.

or what about the people that wait til you are a few lengths behind them, ready to pass them, and they switch lanes in front of you, for no reason?

What irritates me is when someone tailgates me when I'm going at or above the speed limit. When you're going that fast, go the fvck around me.

The types of people who you describe are asshats as well. Most of the time however they can't help it because they are either soccer moms on their cell phones, old people, asian people (no offense), or their car is just too shitty to go faster.

I will agree with you on that point. usually when I look at a person who has slowed down 10 mph for no reason or doing something that makes it seem like they arent paying attention, they are on their cell phone. Cant stand it. I do pass immediately if its possible(if they arent going the same speed as the person in the next lane but either wont switch lanes, or wont speed up so I can pass, this happens aften and usually I have to slow down and cross 2 lanes to get ahead of both those dumb *****.). Like I said I dont tailgate. Ive been brake checked twice that I can remember. They didnt slam.

one time this guy was tailgating me so i slowed down REALLY slow...as i could tell he was about to pass me, when he got in the other lane to pass, i sped up, he sped up with me, only i kept going faster, and he had no choice but to get back behind me cuase oncoming traffic was coming lol, at which point i slowed back down. guy deff was pissed but hey, he started it!

Anyway, whenever someone rides my ***, I slow down more, and more.Ride my *** I'll make you get to your destination even later.And if they hit me, it's their own god **** fault.And in one of the vehicles it works out great if someone rear ends me, because I need a new rear bumper lol. (my back-up vehicle)

My only real roadrage case has been when i was in a line of cars that were going slow, I was staying a good 3 car lengths behind the car in front of me so i could keep a line of site to see if it was clear to pass, and some car comes up behind me and rides my *** like none other. When a passing oppotunity did come up i got in the passing lane slammed my brakes and got right behind the car that was following me, guess it made them nervous getting rode like that considering they took the next available right turn, they got a furious middle finger as i passed them when they turned too!

The speed limit may be the same in both lanes, but on some roads, going the speed limit in the wrong lane will get you killed...

Around here on I-81, it's a two-lane interstate through the mountains - trucks usually are doing 70-80mph on the downhill parts, and they don't give a shit if they're two feet from your rear bumper. So unless you can maintain 85, don't get in that lane.

The only time someone tailgating bothers me is when they don't realize I have a huge blind spot, so all I see is the roof of their car and nothing else...nothing out either side mirror.

What pisses me off is when people hog the fast lane going way to slow, then after you pass them, they stay in the fast lane. If I pass you on the right, your in the wrong ^%$&$^ lane!
