I tailgate!

when I move your slow selfish *** out of the way I really am getting to my location a whole lot faster than 0.1 seconds... A lot of factors to think about like waiting at traffic lights that I couldn't get thru because I was stuck behind you...

You are controlling the pace of traffic. It should be illegal just like tailgating is illegal.

you do realize that the posted speed limit is the max limit. the minimum around here is 20 miles lower. so if someone is going 45 in a 65 they are still in the right. hahaha

I am mainly referring to medium to heavy traffic situations where there is a person in front of you and you have no room to go faster.

If you tailgate people in these situations you are a supreme asshat.

see, when im driving at 70 in a 65. im not gonna go any faster, dont feel like getting the ticket. so riding my *** when "YOU" can pass me will solve nothing.

I rarely tailgate. But piss me off and I will. Like going too slow. 10mph UNDER the speed limit is a no go for me. Drive like a dick and I'll get close enough to nudge you. Go ahead and slam on the brakes, I can control my car well enough to stop or even end up in FRONT of yours.

Now I have tailgated a cop. He was doing 85 in a 55. Traffic usually does 70-75 on that highway. I had 30 minutes to get to a dealership that was 35 miles away. Followed that cop hard for the entire trip. At the very end I got too close and he flashed his lights at me once, I backed off some and he left.

I generally like to keep 1-3 carlengths back at all times.

I've had friends pulled over for driving too slow. 10mph under.

Minimum is different everywhere. And the majority of people go the speedlimit or over. Anyone going under just causes a long line of a cars to start forming behind them.
