Is the one suggested on their site good enough, or do you guys have some other recommendations? My dad's ready to get rid of my truck and switch me over to the car so I gotta get it all ready to go and I'll be off next week so I'll be able to build a box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

So, should I just go with this one or is it tuned crazy or something? Any suggestions welcome.

Heh, thanks Xluben. I always try playing with it and it comes out with like 20 different chambers for the port

Dunno the airspace on that one, didnt look that hard,lol. But I run 4 in a 1.6ft^3 box ported to 35Hz. And thats on the smaller side for airspace. For two I'd suggest 1.5ft and tune it to 35Hz (i like this tuning and fwiw i've had mine tuned at 40 and 45 also.

should leave just under 2" behind each magnet.

I just built the AA "spec" box for 2 8's. I believe it's 1.2^3 @ 40Hz. Put it in the GF's car firing forward through the rear seat opening as she wanted max trunk space.

I'm VERY impressed for $100 and a few hours to build the box. Plenty of punch/impact for a daily driver and when I've cranked them up a few times they pound pretty hard. I had to keep looking back to see that it was only 2 little 8's putting out that bass that was shaking the rearview mirror //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

They already shake the rear view mirror in my truck sealed with only like .3ft^3 each. I can't wait to get them ported and in the car, but I still gotta buy my HU and some more 4 gauge.
