Asking for commentary on my future plans

I just posted my introduction in the introduction forum as I should, but I actually have a few questions sprinkled through-out, and knowing forums the introduction section doesn't get too much attention, so quoted here is my introduction, and I simply ask for any comments/tips on my current plan of action. I'm very new to the car audio game, so I'll appreciate all criticism, commentary, and suggestions.

Hello everyone! I have a 2006 mazdaspeed 6, and while looking for more info on the Rainbow Germanium's - and a place to buy them - I was directed here, with specific mention of CarAudio.com member Don (6spdcoupe).
I haven't had an exceptional sound systems before, but I plan to make this car sound fairly acceptable. Currently I just have the stock 'premium' bose audio system (ie crap EQ'd to hell), and in the back a 12" type-r powered by a 600w phoenix gold amp in a custom ported enclosure tuned to 32Hz. I'll probably eventually switch this out for something better when the funds become available.

First up I plan on sound deadening my car (looking at using Second Skin Damplifier, any comments on this?) because it already rattles like crazy with the music turned up a bit, and I've only got 3k miles on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Then, as I've mentioned, I'm looking to get the Rainbow Germanium's up front, without any rears. No idea what amp to use yet, and I've never installed speakers so I may just be too worried to do it myself. And I'm certainly anxious about the workload for the sound deadening. I hear it's rather difficult in my car.

I would order 120sq of second skin damplifier and a few sheets of luxury liner.

Do two layers on your doors

your entire trunk

and trunk lid

rear deck

roof and floor if you can.

Look into getting some overkill or rattle pad and just keep isolating the rattles one at a time eventually you will get them all gone or bare able.

Not a bad looking car, I recommend to you some window tint to deter some possible thiefs while you upgrade your system and have your system installed.

With the sounds of you wanting rainbows you may be heading towards sound quality. I'd eventually get rid of the type-r because thats everything that it lacks. And maybe do a nice setup for 2 10's sealed or 1 12 ported again. I would look into running some sundown amplifiers, kicker zx series amps, or some rockford fosgate t series. It all depends on your budget. I know you will be happy with a front of speakers only as long as they are properly installed.

Indeed, I'm looking for quality above all else. I originally had limited plans for the car, thus the Type-R, but I can't stand the overall audio quality. I'm considerably more familiar with earphones and headphones, and just now for the first time getting into car audio, but I've been perhaps spoiled by the possible sound quality with earphones/headphones. For a comparison of what I'm looking for, I'd like to ultimately have something that sounds as precise as my Shure e500 in ear canal phones, except on a full car scale, which I realize is considerably harder.
