I originally had limited plans for the car, thus the Type-R, but I can't stand the overall audio quality. I'm considerably more familiar with earphones and headphones, and just now for the first time getting into car audio, but I've been perhaps spoiled by the possible sound quality with earphones/headphones. For a comparison of what I'm looking for, I'd like to ultimately have something that sounds as precise as my Shure e500 in ear canal phones, except on a full car scale, which I realize is considerably harder.
