After a LOT of design work, testing, and measuring (We are talking about hundreds of hours of REAL ground-plane measurements, not just measuring or comparing specs...) we are pleased to announce our new products. Most of you already know about the midrange drivers, but there are now going to be four new lines of subwoofers.

Each subwoofer line represents some SERIOUS performance for the money. As always, all of our subwoofers carry the fantastic sound quality and value that you have come to expect from Ascendant Audio. We are ridiculously picky about the quality of sound, so a few months of extra design time is worth it when they deliver.

The midrange drivers will be the first to hit the market followed by the lower priced subwoofers and so on up the line. The subwoofers are not yet ready for purchase. There are probably at least a few questions that you will have after reading this page, so we promise to fill you in as quickly as possible. We will be posting pictures over the next few days as well information for each product lineup. For now, here is the basic info:

Details to be revealed soon . . .

The prices above are not set in stone. Pricing per driver will eventually be finallized. However, the price points above give you a ball-park idea of where prices will be "centered" for the particular line. For example, the Assassin line will cost under $100 for the 8's and 10's and around $100 for the 12. It just gives you some sort idea of what to expect. Don't be surprised if the smaller drivers are a little bit less and the bigger drivers are a little bit more than the estimated price point. Once the pricing is set in stone, it will go up on our website along with the specs etc. No, the Assault 18 will NOT be $150, but it should come in ~$200...

Please don't call and ask about every little detail of the new products. We will post the info here as it becomes available, I promise. If it is not posted, you will NOT find out about it by calling us.

We are incredibly excited about these new drivers. They all represent spectacular performance for the money. A huge amount of time and effort has gone into their design. We will be revealing more pics, specs etc. over the next few days. We have just raised the bar...

Your point is... ?

And Squeak, why the pessimism?

there is no atlas or avalanche in the new line up. there wouldnt be anyway if you followed the saga of the xbl^2 wars lol thats the new stuff coming out with what they will offer. when i talked to chad he told me they would still have parts to repair the old atlas and avalanche but as a whole they are moving on with the free technology. for some reason people got mad about what was said blah blah blah blah not that it really matters about said product what matters is what they do with the new technology not why they changed.

is that guy even in business anymore?

If he is he sure has a strange way of showing it,******** never responds to an Email

and I find out through message boards he has no product to even sell

The Arsenal seems to me like an Atlas replacement, and the Havoc an Avalanche replacement. Anyone know anything about the Havoc as of yet?
I have no clue but based on the prices, but I would think that the Arsenal series would be more comparable to the Ava's and the assualt or assassin would be closer to the atlas series.

I wanted a ava 12 but was too late so im looking forward to the new subs. It doesnt look like its coming out before christmas, I hope that I am wrong though.

I'm pessimistic by nature I suppose.
Noah said they were going to release some "amazing" products. I was curious as to what was going to make them so "amazing".

if you talk to them you'll realize straight away that AA doesn't even know why they're "amazing"

I look forward to N dang's/Zaph/Mark K's tests of the AA 6.5"... looks like an XXX clone without XBL2 from what I understand...

we'll see of course

Yet again, talking about LOOKS of an UNRELEASED product. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

ASSuming shit is ghey, ignorant, and childish...at least on unreleased products. No offense meant, really. No matter who says it, just gets old.
