They have a thicker shank and a wider thread than drywall screws.
I use drywall screws on a weekly basis; they are not very strong at all
Also, the beveled head of a drywall screw will bend and depress the basket's mounting holes into the wood. Pan heads are flat against the mounting surface
Nope they were just sitting in there...aftermarket gauges have been picked outall that glass work and sticking with stock gauges... tisk tisk
