good luck. paypal sucks a big fat mean one when it comes to disputes. and most of the time, they will favor the seller because...guess what...thats who they make more money from!!
example:
i originally bought a high output alternator from "Motor City Reman" on
ebay. about 2 years ago.
A.) the alternator did not perform up to spec on the bench;
B.) a LOUD whining noise, not alike other h/o alts, wayy out of normal range. you could hear it with music on sitting inside the car with windows up..
C.) i asked for a refund as i felt i was given a defective product.
D.) he responded, saying he would only repair. i called him, he then said that i INSTALLED it incorrectly, and he will only repair it.......then proceeded to call me a "motherfucking *******" and hung up on me.
the kicker...
i opened a claim with paypal....and HE WON! not only did he sell me a defective product and refused refund, he verbally abused a customer!
and i spoke with paypal, and the rep said "i'm not investigating this any further" and hung up on me.
and keep in mind.....
i work in customer service...technical support....on the phones... and i'm one of the 'nicer' reps you speak to. so i know exactly what is acceptable and unacceptable behavior on the phone..
