I just got my 2 12" Alphasonik 800 series subs. They look great, although looks arent everything.

The reason i bought these was because i heard they're a pretty decent sub. I'm not looking for competition quality or anything, just something that can bump.

Got em both for $350.00

put em in the right box (big tuned low port area etc) and I bet they sound great!

For sure man. Im gonna post more about em as soon as i get them hooked up. In about a week i'll have pictures of my full set-up and then a little video too, maybe.

But, about inverting them. Would that make any difference in sound? And would i need a diffrent kind of box or anything?

No it would make no difference in sound. You use the same box. All you do is flip it over.

Alpha makes some good subs. You should like them.

i would have!!. didnt u guys read in the auto sound and performance magazine? they had a review of the older 600 series last year and that guy dave said that it was one of the most loudest single subs that he ever had tested in his car. he only used a 1000 watt amp and a hammerhill box in the trunk of his wrx.i'd say hell yeah, u maid a **** good decision.

p.s. dave said in the article that he tested the 600 series psw612j and hit 155.34db
