I have a sitdown with a recruiter tomorrow. I only know one person my age who has signed his papers. Im deff. not signing anything tomorrow as im 17 but when I hit 18 in May im considering joining the reserves.

oh and i dont feel like arguing politics. i dont support the war. theres a difference in supporting the war and supporting the troops over there. and by that i mean i want to be a firefighter and if i can potentially save american lives - then **** you.

First off, they're going to tell you just about anything to get you to commit. They're salesman, they have to hit quotas. Your best bet is to talk to someone, whos not a recruiter about the military...

i dont have a problem with anything. Im glad other people are willing to serve, because i dont want to, especially in times like these.
