I turn it down in parking lots and at long lights, but if the person at the lights beside me is on a phone I usually turn it up. I used to own a bike and have been almost hit by so many people on cell phones. I kinda enjoy the looks they give me. I respect everyone else though.

do you turn your stereo down when you come to redlights, respect for other drivers? i always have for a few reasons.. one... i hate when people blare theyre shit to me when im trying to be peacefull, so i dont do it. 2... i hate looking like the kid who thinks hes a 'bad ***' cuz he plays his system full blast with 20 cars around him. i find this very annoying when people blast theyre shit in parking lots, or at red lights. stop signs are ok.. but parking lots, and ****.. even people i see around here blast theyre shit at the drive in window waiting for theyre food. do they not realize how rediculous they look? what are your takes on this subject. do you turn yours down, or keep it bumping in parking lots, red lights, etc.

I turn mine down to respectable levels @ lights. Knowing that the system can be felt by cars close by, Its truned down. I turn it down ALOT when old heads are around just so I dont get that "i hope you die" look after they shit their depends after the bass drops.

I hate those guys who have it full blare @ a light and hafta look around to see if they are being checked out.......attention *****s. Especially when all you hear IS bass, because they spent all their $$$ on subs, and no other speakers, like songs are made up of bass only.

ya i dont bump @ stoplights unless someone else is, and then its just to show em that there sony xplod's are crap...

otherwise i usually feel like a jackass ... my friends bump @ stoplights and i have to lean back so people wont see me , they even bump in the drive through line @ fast food places... i hate that shit makes me feel like a total douche rocket

If im in a quiet neighborhood I keep it down or turn off the bass completly. i tdepends on which stop light i'm at, but i usually turn it down. i never drive through neighborhoods, they are all enclosed where i live. i turn it down when i get near the aprtment complex i live in and in parking lots.

If I'm the only one @ the light going in my direction, then stereo stays up. If my windows are up, stereo stays loud. If my windows are down and no one elses is, I'll turn it down a little. If everyones are down then I pause the CD.

I can't stand other people's music, so I don't do it to other people.

The beauty of my system is its somehow 95% contained in the vehicle with no deadening.
