i dont have to turn anything down at all at a light.
cars so deadend you dont hear much on the outside. also my speakers are aimed/timed. where its only really loud when you are are sitting in the seats. when you stand outside with the door open, its not loud..

I have heard that with a solid, deadened car, you actually provide a tougher "loading panel" of sorts, and that with windows down, the bass will seem louder outside. My vehicle isn't deadened so I dont know, but it seems like it might be true...whaddaya think?

i turn mine down at stoplights unless i have some frank sinatra, phil colins, or other good shit, then i might let it ride (i hate doing it with cliche rap). i never turn it up in nieghborhoods, day or night.
