Are you fxxking me???

Lol. I was given an infraction, and had the post deleted, for "insulting another member" once... I'm pretty sure the OP of This clusterphuck only reported me, since I was always riding his ass for giving out awful advice to teh newbies. Read some of the thread, and keep in mind that the only deleted post is for "insulting a member"... you'll lol.

Once again I'd like to point out the STICKY IN THE SUBWOOFER SECTION.

The one that says if you dont ask a intellegent question you will get ridiculed. I dont know that it was a ridiculous question but I really dont think it was intelligent either.

Even though there have been several shifts in moderation at this site, it's still not that bad. I've been active on some lock down forums and this is a cakewalk compared to them. I've received infractions for not selling things "right". Ridiculous.

I suppose you could always post on a forum with virtually zero moderation, but that has drawbacks as well.

When I was a mod, it was *******.

Now I think they're over-modding because 1) They're new, and need to establish "their rules" , 2) They take this as an actual job (lmfao, right?) 3) They really don't know what this place is about 4) They have their biases to certain members (I've had two infractions in the last two weeks and I've been here nine fu-Cking years without incident)

When you think about it, it's just kinda sad they take their volunteering so seriously.

I've already said my words to them in the mod backroom.

It's funny, but the "older" mods will openly say that less moderation is better (less getting people on the menial stuff, and just let a lot more slide).

Then the new mods will come in and make a hissy-fit that something needs to be done about XXX and "we need action!", and again... older mods will basically say "dude, relax...stop over-modding".

Anyone find it weird that the older mods...guys who have been doing this for years, and have exponentially more experience, will admit that less finite-moderation is a better thing...but these new mods think that every little issue needs to be pressed and discussed...every little thing has to have attention brought to it.

I mean, it's not like experience has anything to do with it...noooooo...

You have to wonder what kind of lives people live in order to spend so much time volunteering and bringing up issues about such, in the grand scheme of things, stupid issues... like some guy bashing a company because the company owner was a dumba$s.

Just ponder that for a few minutes.

So, out of the current mods who has been "volunteering" the most? Denim, Whitedragon, or audioholic?
