That's the thing I know what rise is. I know what a school bus is too. My point is that's irrelevant. My point of making the post was to see of there were any other sundown x 18 users past or present that have put 3k daily into it. That's it and that's all. I didn't come to here ask how good or bad my amp was I know exactly what I have trust me.

IF you know what it is, you'll know that you can run a 3k to your sub just fine after rise, its just gonna be enough to feed the sub, keep the signal clean etc.. This is already said by others. No one trash talked about your amp at all. You are just taking everything up the @ss in the wrong way to be honest.

We've told you that you can strap the other amp to it because you'll never actually see 3k at the subs.

OP needs to do more listening and less talking.

If you know what rise is, you wouldn't need to come here asking if you can strap two amps just like Jeff and everyone else said.

You want help, you got help. Just because we're trying to get you to understand from our point of view doesn't mean we're assholes out to make fun of you. Take the help or leave it, you're lucky this many people dealt with your bs and are still trying to help.

The X can probably take double rated clean and *on music* where rise is constantly changing with frequency.

You're likely only seeing ~ 1k around tuning from that amp. And that's only very near tuning.

Get another and set them clean. You'll be ok if you're responsible about it. But it is AP and you can get into trouble quickly. Or get a larger, more efficient, more robust amp.

And to answer a question from earlier in the thread... generally, sealed has more impedance rise.
