i've gone backstage two years in a row, as well as a few other emo concerts, and i have to say, they seem like some pretty happy fu(ks to me. they get to play music infront of tons of people, get paid, and then get laid. life is good for them.

hey 204, do u have any clue what co & ca are singing about? i havent got the slightest idea, maybe i should look em up now.

the entire thing is a set of sci-fi stories that claudio is making up. none of it is real. of course as in any fiction, his life experience is injected to it, but the real meanings of most of those songs is just this very twisted science fiction story. i haven't bothered to look too deeply, but he's written a comic book to go along with the first cd (second stage turbine) that explains everything.

oh yeah, and The Used is ******* horrible. i hate him (burt mckcracken or whatever) and his poser *** band. same goes for my chemical romance, except at least they used to be original garbage before they turned into copycat garbage. so fvckin overproduced its ridiculous. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

not even true. brand new is definitely something incredible but there's lots of bands on par or better. morrissey-er vocals cannot make a band worse. or maybe thats just my opinion.

well, if you completely take just that line out of context like that then i guess yes i am joking. obviously vocals can make a band worse. crappy vocals ruin a band. thats why hardcore punk is all horrible.

anyway, i said morrisey-er. as in vocals that sound more like morrissey, who basically invented that socalled "whiny" method of singing, cannot make a band worse in my opinion. if the vocals are good they're good. chris carraba has literally the most incredible voice of any modern "rock" artist in my opinion and yet most of you hate him just because of his "whiny" vocals.
