haha you're not, dont worry about it. when i had my pirate hair (the hair thats really long in the front, and if you throw it down covers one eye) i got made fun of alllllllll the time, i can take it all in stride. i still have my pride and dignity no matter what i look like or say or act like because i do NOT cross dress.

metros - listen to some emo music and rap, very concerned with their appearance, basically think of a gay guy that likes women

and fashioncore scene kids - listen to just weird shit, sometimes emo, OBSESSED with their appearance, will wear the most outrageous shit- see, girl's pants, little girls' sweaters, and scarfs,

yea ive heard all those...my bro likes em alot along with all his asian emo friends hehe.

Anyways, my only beef with those bands are the VOICES!! oh my gosh i start listening to one of those songs, sounds pretty good and then the dude/dudette starts singing and OH! the song is forever destroyed!!!

one good example: Under Pressure by the great Bowie and Queen covered by My Chem romance and that hardcore punk band turned emo (the used?) anyways. THe BG music sounds awesome! almost up to par with the original. then... the voices... those awful voices... they are not worthy of Freddy mercurys great voice![/rant]

the voices are an acquired taste, which took me a while to drill into my head. it's kinda like all the yelling in metal. that grew on me after a while.
