I HAVE 2 15"kicker comp cvr's and a hifonics brutus 1600w. currently i have a 4 awg kit to the amp. the amp has two 70 watt fuses. i wanna know if its really 1/0 guage so it can handle the power. help appreciated

Depends on the length of the cable, but if it's longer than about 10' (like for a single cab pickup) then you need something bigger than 4ga.

no, i have 4/0 now. the kit im looking at is 1/0. but i wanna know if it really is1/0 cuz there are cheap kits out there that say1/0 and are about 4/0

knukonceptz is a reputable manufacturer. If they say it's 1/0 then it's 1/0.

I was thinking that when I read it.

4-AWG is roughly the size of my pinky.

4/0 (Four Ott) is roughly the size of MY FUCKING WRIST!

Notice the difference?

4/0 isn't really considered "power wire", it's "welding cable" at that point.
