ok im switching out my 10w7 in the ho box because that thing is just so **** huge! im gonna get a smaller compact sealed box w/ the dimensions:

16x14x17 (WxHxD) w/ an internal volume of 1.4.

how will the sub sound in that box?

i had my 10w7 in an enclosure that was 16 x 12 x 20, around 2 cubic feet, and it was rediculously loud. Yours will be just a tau smaller, so i'm guessing overall output would be just a bit less, but it might hit harder/cleaner.

Oh, my port was 1" x 12", and on the side of the box if you are facing the sub, and ran the 20" length of the box.
