i'd be skeptical just because it says 800 watts then 3000 peak...pretty much anytime the peak is a crap load more than the rms value it's not a good brand. It means they're trying to make they're amp seem more powerful than it really is.

yeah that would be a good idea. i am looking for around 600 per channel at 4 ohms or 1200 mono at 2 ohms. my budget is kinda low so around 300 or so. used would be great. i just want to get something toget the re se's moving

Go to Ebay and start looking for QSC Powerlight or RMX series amps.

QSC Powerlight are excellent amps, little bit larger compared to some of their other series, but quality none the less. I'd highly recommend one rather than going with a new behringer.
