Are there 8'' baskets and recones that would fit my RE SE 12?

I got a one year old RE SE 12 that I am about to take out of my car because I am getting a SSD 15.

I still love the sub but want to change it up a little.

Is there an 8'' basket and recone that would fit my SE motor?

Seems stupid but I would also be willing to recone to an 18'' woofer. I just want to do something no one else has done with an SE before.

Any thoughts?

The SE has to big of a coil to make into an 8".

2-2.5" coils are the biggest you can use for an 8".

It is 3.25 correct?

I think I am going to just turn it into a 15'' SEXXX and port it and throw it back in my hatchback.

Would taking to to an 18'' be too much? I have never heard of anyone doing it.... I would only have room for sealed if I went with an 18 but if it would be better than a 15 ported i will be game.

Sub will get reconed to a d2 btw so I can get 1100 watts off my hifonics 1208d......
