Are The Any Speakers That Produce Good Bass??

for every octave lower you go...it requires double the displacement. There is no free lunch unless you go with a horn setup, but then you must sacrifice a TON of space to get LF response.

6.5" speakers simply cannot replicate the high-end and low-end without disrupting either...

The cone speaker simply doesnt have enough surface area and linear excursion to augment the low-end. As it is, most 6.5s (actually like 5.5" across) should be crossed below 2500hz as 2500hz is ~the wavelength of the cone and the driver will severly beam once it passes that point...=terrible off-axis response up high if you use a large cone.

~1700hz for an 8

~1350hz for a 10

~1116hz for a 12

~900hz for a 15

The driver would need an insane amount of excursion to augment the low-end if using a small diaphragm...this would require a massive voice coil and inductance would be quite high limiting your upper frequency response once again.

and u should also realize that anything less than a "woofer" class speaker shouldnt really be getting anything lower than around 80hz, not at a decent volume level.
