Are Sony Xplods Any Good???

I'm thinking about purchasing some sony xplod 6in and 6x9 speakers for my car..anybody know if they are quality or not? They put out good wattage...let me know if anybody has heard anything...or knows of something better for aroudn the same price...

the only xlpod crap i would even think about touching is possibly a deck, and it would ahve to be one of their better ones...

yeh listen to wonderbread. My friend but some sony speakers and they sounded like complete ***. Would have been the biggest waste of 80$ ever, but I made him return them and got him a good deal on a pair of boston rally's. Heh he was alot happier with those and they really didnt cost much more at all.

for 99 bucks, you can get some wicked speakers...

go to ikesound, on the front page, near teh bottom, tehre are some pioneers for 79, definitely much better than teh sony's..

also, those alpines for 109 arenmt half bad either...

tehre are tons, go online, try a place like ikesound.com, free shipping, good rep...

i just put in 2 xplode 6X9 in back and i thought they sounded a lil ..... but n e ways i paid 69.99 for these are pioneer n e good?*$@()*$@) i think i just made a horrible mistake...wut should i do???or go with? n e help??

pioneers have gotten a really good rep for sounding good with minimal power...

IE - off deck power...

besdies, tehy are heads and shoulders above Sony crud

Yeah man definetly take those Pioneers over the Xplods. I know a guy who's running some quite expensive Sony 6x9's in boxes for the rear and they sound like crap.

my friend has a sony deck and it just quit working after a year, since he is cheap he bought another one and now he is starting to have the same problems, i have never heard anything good come from sony

actuall,y teh Sony Mobile ES line of years gone by were very very good products, with some of teh best decks made...
